We are celebrating! Our project is almost finished!

We are celebrating! Our project is almost finished!

Thanks to the donors who collaborated with our project, we have managed to recover 4 hectares of land completely abandoned for more than 30 years.

The works began with the construction of the well:

Fortunately, we managed to find water at a depth of 166 meters.

The next step was the installation of a power source that could run the water pump. In this case and following our philosophy, we have opted for 100% clean and renewable energy.

As you can see in the main image, the assembly of the solar panels is almost complete, and when they are at full capacity we will be able to provide 100% clean energy to the water pump.

We have continued with the installation of drip irrigation, thus ensuring that our olive trees receive the nutrients and water they need every day of the year.

In the following image you can see the land that until now was abandoned. Now they are clean, cleared and prepared to receive 400 young olive trees. The planting of these trees will take place in the coming weeks.

Finally, we have also built a small paellero/barbecue to receive all those who want to visit us and see our fields in person. :)

We are very satisfied with the evolution of the project. We will continue to report with the next advances!
